2026 Boys Junior Development and Representative Program Information and registration

BOYS JUNIOR STATE AGE (JSA) PROGRAM
Male Team - players born 2012, 2013, & 2014

The Boys JSA Program will run in conjunction with the Girls JSA Program. Any boys registering for this program will be referred to as the JSA Boys Squad. The cost to register is $100. The program cost covers 6 x intensive training sessions and 1 x game play session to select the team.

Monday 23/03/2026 5.00-7.00pm (Normal Squad Training)

Any player successful in selection to the Boys JSA Team will have the cost of this program deducted from their JSA Team Fee. Any player not selected into the team will be invited to continue to train with the team as a Training Partner at no further cost. Please Note: The Boys JSA Team only attend day 3 and 4 of the NQ State Age Titles on this calendar.

Player's trialling for the Boys JSA team must be available to train on a Monday night on a weekly basis through the 2026 representative training calendar.

For the athletes selected to a Boys JSA teams, Wests will attempt to register the team in 3 x representative warmup carnivals to prepare them for the 2-day Junior State Age Carnival. NQ have confirmed that the Junior State Age Championships will be held in Hinterland District Netball Association between 4 - 7 July 2026, with the boys participating on the 6-7 July only.

PROGRAM INFORMATION
Program Fee - $100 per player + NQ Registration Fee payable via Netball Connect Registration to WDNA for insurance purposes.
*** If playing club in 2026 - NQ Registration Fee $133 (and not yet registered to a club) - Please select 'Player Membership 2026' - you will only pay this fee once in a season - fee relates to the whole of 2026 Club Season. If already registered with a club, you do not need to pay this fee
*** If NOT playing with a Club in 2026 - NQ Registration Fee $64 - please select 'Player - 10 Week Membership' - you will need to pay this fee prior to commencing the program.
*** Wests recommends playing with a Club in 2026 if wanting to further develop netball skills. At our junior age, boys would be integrated with the girls' club teams.

All players are expected to wear black tops (or Wests training singlet if you have one) and black bottoms during the program. Players will be put on the court a minimum of 3 times each during the trial process (and should not expect to receive more than 3 attempts during trials). Some players will receive more than this dependent on the mix of positions nominated. Bring plenty of water, snacks & towel.

The trial date is 02/03/2026 5.00-7.00pm (as mentioned above)
Venue is WDNA Courts and details will be provided during the lead in training sessions
5.00-7.00pm: players born 2012, 2013, & 2014 (12-14 yrs)
If selected in the Boys JSA Team, the approx. fee is $500 - Less $100 paid for this program.
Please note: This price is an approximate and is subject to change. The boys' team will be required to arrange their own travel and/or accommodation requirements with parents/guardians.
