What Is Rep Netball?

Representative netball gives talented and committed players the opportunity to represent their netball association and compete at a higher level than regular club competition.

Players are selected through trials, with teams formed by year of birth and ability. Representative teams train regularly with qualified coaches and compete in association warm up carnivals and at the Netball Queensland State Age competition, held annually.

This program is collated for all age groups.  WDNA expects all athletes who are selected in representative squads to continue their personal development at home during the holiday period and break from netball.

As part of our Representative Program, Captains and Vice Captains are selected for each teams.  
It is a great privileged to be appointed into a leadership role of a WDNA Representative Team, which will require demonstration of leadership both on and off the court.
