WDNA are seeking Expressions of Interest for the Rep Development Lead role, which is part of the WDNA Coaching Team for 2024.

In line with the rep competitions, Wests will be trialling Rolling Substitutions in the A Grade and A Reserve Competition. Commencing this Saturday 19 June, and will be reviewed at the end of the season.

WDNA are seeking players to assist with the practical component of the Face to Face Development Coaching Workshop this Sunday 22nd May. Players will be exposed to specialist coaching and it is a great opportunity for players to take part. They’ll need to be dressed in training attire, bring water, sweat towels, hat, sunscreen and some snack food. This will be on a first in, best dressed scenario. If you are available, please email admin@westsnetball.org to confirm a spot.

![]() | NO NETBALL UNTIL RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED Qld Government announced this morning there would be no community sport for two weeks. We know that our members "just want to play netball" and experience has taught us to plan for what we know now. With that in mind, we have set down fixtures for 28 August and 4 September, to finalise our season. No finals will be played - just for the love of netball. Fixtures will be updated soon. Waratah Social Netball games will be postponed until 23 August. Thank you to everyone for your support and a huge shout out to those in quarantine. We appreciate your efforts in keeping everyone safe! |

![]() | As per advice from Qld Health, WDNA has been identified as an exposure site on: - Thursday, 29 July (Court 1 from 4.30-5.40pm) and - Saturday, 31 July (Court 22 from 9.45am-11.30am). WDNA has been working with the Public Health Unit and provided contact information as required. The PHU will be in contact with people who will need to get tested and/or isolate. We will also be conduction a deep clean of our facilities over the next few days. This a timely reminder to all our members to get tested immediately if you feel unwell.
