NetSetGo! 5-10 years

Netball is for everyone. Children as young as 5 can enjoy the modified game of netball.

With Netball Australia's NetSetGo program children progress through the stages as they develop, so they can learn the game at their own pace and enjoy playing netball. No ladders and non-competitive, NetSetGO is about learning, having fun and building confidence — not winning.

The three stages are;

🟡 NET – 5 to 7 years

A fun introduction to netball. Children learn the basics of throwing, catching, moving and teamwork through games and activities. There is no pressure to play a full game.

🟠 SET – 7 to 8 years
Children start developing their netball skills and begin playing modified games. They learn more about positions, passing, footwork and the basic rules.

🟢 GO – 8 to 10 years
Children continue developing their skills and play a more structured version of netball, preparing them to move into junior competition which begins at 11 years.
